Let’s track back to the day where myself and these girls hit up the ever so popular spring break spot in PCB Florida, the place where we wouldn’t go to bed until 4am and would wake up at 8am to hit the beach with our big mugs of something fruity and hang with the zillions of college kids maneuvering ways to play beer pong in the sand. Well, fast forward to last week when we returned to Florida, visiting the perfect place where people go to retire, Marco Island. And let me tell you, we loved every second!

Our time was spent sipping Old Fashioned’s on the back patio in yoga pants gambling for dollar bills. We all now need glasses to see and found ourselves grocery shopping for snacks and things to make for dinner. We learned how to work a grill, hunted for seashells at the beach, and attended one heck of a Sunday Funday filled with some rocking jams of which included the Cupid Shuffle and Macarena. We told stories, took Polaroid’s, played card games and laughed so hard we cried. We’d wake up feeling refreshed and excited that there were no plans or places to be, the perfect vacation.

Marco Island really is a little slice of Heaven that serves the best strawberry banana smoothies. It is chill, beautiful and all things good. We cannot thank Courtney’s parents enough of letting us stay the week at their gorgeous home, we blame you for us never wanting to leave that house! 😉
